Project Objectives
To explore the experience of European partners in the field of higher education management and to develop proposals for adapting this experience for implementation within the governance models of Ukrainian higher education institutions.
To provide programme participants with the competencies and awareness necessary for further dissemination of good governance standards.
To promote the experience and standards of good governance as a guarantee of sustainable democracy.
To contribute to the development of local democracy through educational programmes.
To establish communication channels among consortium members in order to facilitate the exchange of successful European practices.
To develop and implement a training course and conduct its pilot testing in seven educational institutions.
To modernise educational programmes of specialised higher education institutions in the field of governance and to integrate European-based good governance standards into national curricula.
Activities
Development and implementation of the course “Effective Governance in the Context of the European Dimension” at Ukrainian partner universities.
Development of a comprehensive teaching and methodological package, including digital educational resources and online courses.
Organisation of study visits to leading European universities in Poland, Slovakia, and Latvia to explore and adapt best practices in Good Governance.
Design and implementation of professional development programmes for university managers, representatives of student and public self-government bodies.
Establishment and operationalisation of Centres for Good Governance as innovative platforms for research, interdisciplinary cooperation, and practical application of good governance principles.
Integration of effective European governance models and management practices into the higher education system of Ukraine;
Strengthening horizontal cooperation among universities and deepening cross-border partnerships with European institutions.
Organisation of training sessions and seminars for academic and administrative staff of partner universities and local government
Monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of project implementation and outcomes
Ensuring institutional integration and long-term sustainability of project results
Dissemination of project outcomes at national and international levels
Expected results:
Strengthened institutional capacity of partner universities. Study visits to leading European universities in Poland, Slovakia, and Latvia will enable Ukrainian partners to adopt best practices in Good Governance and curriculum modernisation.
Development of a comprehensive teaching and methodological package for the course “Effective Governance in the Context of the European Dimension,” including the creation of relevant online courses.
Design and implementation of professional development programmes for managers, representatives of local government, and employers aimed at developing good governance competencies.
Establishment of Centres for Good Governance as innovative hubs where academic staff and students engage in good governance research, interdisciplinary cooperation, and practical application of good governance principles.
